We have now owned Morter’s for a year. It was a family run fishing camp for 58 years, and one we stayed at with our family when our children were young. There are 4 cottages, one is a duplex, and they are just feet from the water. 4 of the units have undergone a complete renovation, and we have made one of them handicapped accessible. They all have all new kitchens, bathrooms, floors, furniture and kitchenware. We have knocked out the walls facing the lake, and made them a sea of windows. Three of the units are equipped with a modern Malm gas fire place. There are three sandy beaches, gorgeous waterfront, a volleyball court, a playground, and a fish cleaning house. At this time, they will remain pet free in high season. The following changes have been made in the renovated units: *front walls facing the lake are now all glass and lead out to wide decks that span the whole front of the cottage *There are gas fireplaces in the living rooms not Duplex down *Each unit now has a new 4 piece bathroom, totally new kitchens, with dishwashers *The floors are all redone *gas grills are available to share *the duplex has been winterized and is available to rent year round.
