As you ascend the steps to the front garden the beautiful scent of Jasmine greets you, and the unmistakeable sound of Cicada?s nestling in the Olive or Franjapani trees. The Villa is fitted out with high end Italian furniture, cream leather sofas, light oak bedroom furniture, all bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes, and it contains everything that you would expect to find in quality accommodation. Facilities There are three external sun terraces, all with outside furniture and large Sun umbrellas, two of which have glorious views over Psaltos Bay, and the third more private and sheltered. The lit BBQ area is one of the most used parts of the Villa, where you can produce a fantastic alfresco experience, on the large Weber BBQ, and is enjoyed by everyone. This is very much a second home, both of us having spent many years in and around Lindos, we are therefore constantly aiming to ensure that it is furnished with the very best quality furniture and furnishings, in a bid to provide the best facility that you could wish to find, in Villa Lindos Spa. The modern, stylish living area of Villa Lindos, incorporates beautiful Italian leather furniture, Greek throws, ornamental fireplace, large 32inch LCD TV, full NOVA Sports package TV, DVD Player, BOSE sound dock, Hi Speed Wifi and Landline telephone, so people can stay in touch, Subtle lighting and classic Greek ornaments. If it?s music that you want, bring your iPod, and use the sound dock, or listen to it in the Jacuzzi. Inside The Villa itself benefits from three large bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes. Master bedroom is on the top floor, with a full ensuite bathroom, and opens out onto the top sun terrace. The two other bedrooms, are on the ground floor, one in King configuration, that leads out into the secluded rear courtyard, the other is twin bedded, with more than ample space. The Living accommodation is on the middle floor. It is very light and airy, and deceptively spacious with traditional tiled floors, and patio doors opening onto the front terrace. The Kitchen / Dining Area, incorporates an Italian fitted kitchen, and Habitat furniture, and provides all the essential appliances, one would expect to find in quality accommodation, including a coffee machine. Infant facilities are also provided. Outside Venture outside from the King Bedroom, to the private rear courtyard, with subtle night lighting, set into the traditional deck area, and here you will find Villa Lindos Spa, a lovely full size Hydrotherapy Spa, imported from HotSpring USA. Traditional Cretan pots and plants enhance this peaceful place, together with a scented pink Franjipani, all of which is bordered from above with flowering scented roses. No matter what time of year it is, you can soothe, and relax under the midnight sky, and gaze up into the many wonderful stars. Continue up into the rear Garden, where Cicadas will greet you from a vast range of coloured Oleanders, Cactus, shrubs and herbs, into the main gardens, which are large and fully landscaped, incorporating a wide variety of indigenous plants, Olive trees, Palms and herbs, with bouganvillas, both wild pink, and reds, cascading over the the front wall. It is typically Greek and built around the Acropolis which dates back to 300BC. There are also the Captains Houses, which traditionally all look out to sea. Lindos is a fascinating maze of narrow cobbled streets and white washed houses that almost cling to the hillside that is topped with an Acropolis, the temple of Athena. Lindos is the most visited and photographed area on the island. The main beach surrounds a perfect natural harbour, into which arrive daily boat trips from Rhodes Town, tall ships and many other craft. It is a busy beach, with something for everyone. Take a boat trip, or a lazy sea cruise from the local jetty, or just relax. St Paul?s Bay, is much smaller, and more sheltered. Here you can swim out into the bay, in the beautifully clear water, without a worry in the world. It has over the years become more and more popular, and the small church on the side of the bay, is now host to over 700 weddings a year, the vast majority of which are people from the UK. Pefkos ( Πεύκη ) Pefkos is a seaside village that over the last fifteen years has grown into a buzzing little resort. It has some glorious beaches, and is popular with locals too. A very friendly and welcoming place, with a wide variety of bars, cafes and tavernas. Lardos (Λάρδος) This is a typical Greek Village, with a main square, surrounded by tavernas, shops, and bars. Some 5Km from Lindos, in a rural and hospitable area, you will find a more typically Greek lifestyle, rather than the tourist centres of Lindos, and Pefkos. A visit to RHODES TOWN, and the medieval Old town, dating back to the knights of Templar is a must. The old town is very picturesque, with it?s stone buildings, and cobbled streets, bazaars, shops and bars, facing onto the lovely mandraki harbour. The whole place comes alive during the day, and a night time visit is well recommended. Rhodes is a popular destination for mediterranean cruises, which also ensures that there is an abundance of quality designer and high street shops in the new town, together with some ?superb Fish Tavernas? and modern restaurants. Faliraki Waterpark If you are after thrills and spills, a day out at the largest Water Park in europe is a must. Ideal for families, and people of all ages. A free bus service runs to the water park daily, and is very popular. Sianna & Monolithos Head inland to the small mountain top village of Sianna. Here you will find a truly wonderful place, with beautiful views right across the island. Everyone thinks of Rhodes as beaches and sea, but there is some stunning scenery, and here you can really appreciate it. You can also appreciate the vast selection of local natural honey, with various wild herb flavours, but Thyme, Lavender and Sage are predominant. Also on sale are various liquers, produced from the first pressings of Ouzo? Souma, then head onto Monolithos, and the monastery, built atop a huge rock formation looking out over the Mediterranean sea. Symi Island Symi has the most beautiful harbour in Greece.
